Golf Destinations

I guess i am in a good position to write a blog on golf destinations  as i have been doing this for a few years now. Just wish i was a better golfer, but then i guess we all do. I do love a game of golf and especially on golf courses i haven't played before.
My favourite country to travel and play golf depends on a number of things including the group  i am travelling with and and number of days we have to holiday.
Top of the list, would be South Africa, what a great country to travel and experience the golf courses, and their culture. Very much like Aussie, but with a difference and the Aussie $$ goes so far.

On a local note, Adelaide is a great place to go as the four private courses there are world class in my opinion and Adelaide is so easy to get around. You also can't beat the food and wine for an overall experience.
Mornington Peninsula, for just golf, as Jack Newton who knows a bit about golf once told me that collectively they are the best courses in the world. They are indeed world class. 
One more to throw in is Barnbougle, has to be right time of the year, and just golf, but a great experience for a few days.
