Golf Course Info

The signature Par 3 – Hole 17 – is a challenge for any golfer and is an experience in courage or folly. At 230m off the black tees and 180m off the whites, most players cannot reach the green due to the prevailing head wind. So one must consider playing this par four rather than a par three, but then again, you decide!

18 provides visitors with a fantastic view and although it may be a long journey “home”, there is plenty to see and avoid. The 18th green is surrounded by bunkers and a hollow out front. A challenging end yet it is hoped you’ll not be disappointed.

Tailored long pants or shorts (including cargo/ neat denim)
Collared shirt, full buttoned shirt, mock turtle golf shirt
Ankle or full length socks
Golf shoes or flat soled sport shoes. No metal spikes.

Ladies
Tailored shorts, pants, skirts (of appropriate length)
Collared shirt or crew neck

Unsuitable attire in both the clubhouse and on the course includes:
T-Shirts
Singlets – women are able to wear sleeveless fashion tops
Frayed, discoloured or tattered clothing
Board Shorts
Casual thongs are not to be worn at Links Hope Island Golf Course. Exceptions to the rule are leather sandal/thongs worn by females, and infants wearing thongs when accompanied by correctly attired adults. Dress sandals are acceptable.
