Golf Course Details

Kingston Beach Golf Club, located just 15 minutes south of Hobart in Tasmania, is the state's southernmost 18-hole championship course. Established in 1922, the par-71 layout spans 5,803 meters and offers a scenic, parkland-style experience with views of the Derwent River, Browns River, and Mount Wellington. The course is predominantly flat, making it accessible to golfers of all skill levels, and features a unique motorised inclinator to assist players up the hill to the 18th tee.

Course Overview

The club has a rich history, having hosted numerous state and national tournaments, including the Tasmanian Open. Facilities include a driving range, putting and chipping areas, and a fully stocked pro shop. The clubhouse, known as the "Red House," dates back to the 1830s and offers dining and bar services with panoramic views over the 18th green and the Derwent River.
