Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club's The Pines Golf Course, located on Hope Island, Queensland, is Australia's only Arnold Palmer signature course and is widely regarded as one of the nation's premier golfing destinations. Established in 1988, the 18-hole, par-72 championship course spans 6,581 meters from the back tees and is renowned for its challenging layout and pristine conditioning.

In 2024, The Pines underwent a significant $5 million renovation, which included the restoration of greens, new bunkering on the par-5 17th hole, rebuilt teeing grounds, upgraded irrigation infrastructure, and enhancements to the double-ended practice range.

Carved through 101 hectares of established pine forest, The Pines features narrow, tree-lined fairways and 14 holes contoured around six man-made lakes, offering both strategic complexity and stunning scenery. The course is home to abundant wildlife, including native kangaroos and rare bird species, enhancing its natural allure.
