With Santa Ana couch fairways flowing through majestic eucalypts and quality bent grass greens guarded by strategic bunkering, the course rewards both accuracy and imagination.  any holes frame sweeping views of the Brindabella Ranges, and wildlife such as kangaroos and native birds often roam nearby.

Beyond its playing surface, Federal features a welcoming clubhouse with dining, event facilities, and a full pro shop.  The club also has a rich tournament heritage, having hosted events such as the U‑Bix Classic in the 1980s.
