Hello Kristy.
I am now back in NZ feeling the cold. Just wanted to say thanks for organising the golf trip for us. Everything went like clock work, the golf courses were amazing to play and all staff we encountered at all golf courses were friendly and helpful. The apartments in Mooloolaba were excellent and ideally located with easy access to cafes and restaurants.
Thanks a lot for everything and you are highly recommended by our group.

The idea was to arrange a weeks golf and then do a 2 week guided tour of China. Initially we were going to arrange the holiday in 2 parts, the golfing part and then the holiday. After a false start with Chinese travel agent, that had difficulty understanding our requirements we went to Getaway Golf. They gave us a choice of tours and put together the golfing itinerary as well, including arranging for our clubs to be stored in Shenzen while we toured China after our golfing experience and delivered to Hong Kong for our return to Melbourne. Everything worked like clockwork.

Hi Kristy,
The trip was superb, thanks. Amazingly, we only got caught in one heavy ten-minute shower during the three rounds which, given the amount of rain around, was something of a miracle! Although the courses were a bit soggy (and at one point it looked like Lakelands was going to be closed on Sunday morning due to the heavy overnight rain), everyone still thoroughly enjoyed playing them.
All the transfers were excellent, and I have a special thanks to make to John, our driver, who picked up the bag that I had left at Lakelands on the final day and brought it to the airport with another party that he was taking. I just got on to the plane with a couple of minutes to spare!
Accommodation was excellent too – all clean and well appointed, and we all enjoyed a cool off by the pool on the sunny Saturday afternoon after golf.
Many thanks to you and the team for making it all so easy, and we’ll be sure to look you up again if we’re organising something similar next year.

Dear Getaway Golf,
I have today returned to Melbourne from a week long trip as part of the McDonald group, organised by Kim. I want to thank you for not only one of the best holidays I have had, but also the greatest golfing experience of my life. John and Julie from the bus transfer were fantastic. The courses we played were not only world class, but everything went seamlessly. We were treated as welcome guests on every course. To top it off, the accommodation was perfect. (and only lost 10 balls but found 5) Can't thank you enough. Ian McMillan

Just back from what can only be described as an awesome holiday. Mark and I would like to sincerely thank you for everything you did for us - all the bookings went without a hitch and the company's you booked us with (speedishuttle and aloha VIP tours) were outstanding and incredibly helpful and friendly.
We were spoiled by the golf courses you chose for us - the courses were in incredible condition and went above and beyond what we expected. Two of the courses gave us personalised bag tags which just finished off what was already an unforgettable experience (Kapalua Bay and Poipu).
This is the third time Mark and I have booked golf holidays with your company and we are yet to be disappointed or let down by anything thats been arranged for us and for that reason, we will continue to book future golf tours with you.
So thank you very much for all you have done to make our holiday simply amazing :-)

Hi Adrian /Kristy.
On behalf of the group i would like to thank you both [Getaway Golf]with the organised trip which you arranged to our design with accommodation and golf. Everyone could not fault any of the courses with golf carts with players names and time of tee off attached, it made life much easier on each day for me as organiser, the rooms at the Meriton were excellent and so convenient to everything the 40 players wanted , I would like to say to both of you thanks well done . You will get a call from me next year when 2013 trip commences to take shape.I have already had names given to me for next years trip so that in itself spells that it must have be good. Good morning,
The Golf Trip, from all accounts of all 17 people that went was a great success. The idea of not having to hire 2 small buses and have someone not drinking and have to drive people around was excellent. Bill the bus driver was terrific, in the end we looked after him as well as he looked after us.
I will be getting the organiser of next year’s Golf Trip to make contact with Getaway for some quotes for: New Zealand, Sydney, Hunter Valley, Adelaide. It will be the same as this year, being 20 players, accommodation and all transfers, and I think from memory it will be around May 2013. So I’ll keep you posted.
All in all we all a great time, so thanks again for providing a professional service this year and over the past few years. I’m sure we will continue to do business with Getaway Golf. George Sweeny

Thanks very much for putting the trip together, the apartments especially were fantastic and the boys appreciated both the quality of courses and also the location.
Special mention also must go to our driver, Bill. He was extremely flexible working in with us for pick up times etc. and was a thoroughly nice guy, which certainly made the trip more enjoyable.
Wouldn\'t hesitate to recommend you to other people looking to do a trip in the future.

Thanks very much to Kristy Skopp and the team at Getaway Golf. I recently organised an end of year trip for our mad dozen golfers through Getaway Golf to stay and play at Pelican Waters and the Crowne Plaza on the Sunshine Coast. I must have made 15 changes to the itinerary and each one was accepted and processed in a thoroughly professional manner. I can\'t speak highly enough of the work Kristy and the team put into making our trip a success and will definately book our next trip with the Getaway Golf Team. Thanks for your help Kristy and also your comic responses when I was pulling my hair out with the changes :)

Thank you for organising a fantastic week of golfing and holidaying
The resort was terrific, everything you would want and the staff where great. Have attached a photo from directly outside the front doors of the resort. I would recommend a stay there for anyone, my wife has already put her hand up after seeing the photo\'s the boys took while investigating the area.
The ferry ride to Hawks Nest was great, again the staff were fantastic and I would recommend you adding it to your itinerary in the future.
We all had a fantastic time and are all looking forward to you organising next year’s holiday on the gold coast. Thanks once again...Rick Rick Burke

Absolutely fantastic time aside from the last nine holes of golf on Sunday (tough nine).
The Bistro 3 staff were great, excellent service, brilliant meals, great value and great venue. We have two
ex-chefs in our group and they voiced the same opinions as all in that these were probably one of the best meals we have had in many, many years. No need to look for any other venues in years to come. Again an excellent result and I thank you and all at Getaway Golf for making my job so much easier. Mark Schull

Apart from some wet golf courses the trip was excellent. The courses were terrific and the service from each course was great. The accommodation was also perfect. All in all a great experience. We had no difficulties on any of the courses. Played some good golf and intend to return when it\'s a little drier :-) Mark

Our trip to Pelican Waters went extremely well and relayed this back to Colleen and Michael. I also mentioned about re-booking for April next year and trying to get confirmed numbers. Once I have this, I will give yourselves a call.
